Patricia Babington joined Rockwell Automation in product marketing as an applications engineer in the programmable controller business. She has held various roles in the product businesses as product manager, director of the programmable controller business, and director of business development and acquisitions.
In 1995, she moved to the services business as the general manager of customer support and training. In 2004, she came back to the architecture and software business to drive operational performance of the five architecture and software businesses.
Babington leads the development and implementation of programs that are focused on accelerating achievement of the organization's low-cost supplier and continuous process improvement business strategy.
She hold's a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Cleveland State University and is a trained Six Sigma Blackbelt.
